Lineshaft Powered Conveyors, are exactly what their name suggests. They are powered via a drive shaft sytem that is beneath the rollers on the conveyor, and are suitable for automatically conveying lighter products (such as cardboard boxes and tote boxes), which weight approximately 20kgs. Chain driven Powered Conveyors are the more heavy duty and there fore more robust of the roller conveyor range that is currently available to you, and are used in for such roles on the shop floor as pallet handling, and are mainly adapted for loads of (usually) 1,500kgs, but can easily be adapted to handle considerably bigger loads of up to 7,000kgs.
